HEPI is a game. A lot of people, especially children, do not always enjoy studying from books or standard digital media platforms. Moreover, excercises with repetitive methods sometimes make this aversion worse. Many parents can probably relate, kids would rather play games. HEPI is a way to practice english verb tense conjugations while still making you feel you’re simply playing a game and not actually studying.
HISTORY
I’m originally an animation designer with a history in Adobe Flash. When Flash discontinued i started teaching English. At some point I created a simple app so that I could do a short verb tense repetition exercise in class with a student. Throughout the years this app evolved to the point where they could use it at home. After many years and the surge of Covid-19 I decided to make a version as a game. HEPI is the result.
This game was made with Unity , The character was made with Blender, inspired by a previous arcade flash game EMO run. Some of the sounds found here.
